And here she is…the Lighthouse, designed by Jerry Tate and built by Conservation Builders Ltd, which currently sits bathing in the Summer sun atop Beaumont Village here at Silverlake.
Constructed from Structurally Insulated Panels (SIPs), the Lighthouse is clad in rich redwood cedar with clay brick roof tiles and a beautiful wraparound balcony to the first floor with stunning views over the lakes and nature reserve beyond. We can proudly say that the Lighthouse is our most eco-friendly home to-date and is our first design to meet Passivhaus standards and can be configured to meet code level 6 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.
This is the very first Lighthouse to be constructed and we can’t wait to see more of these very special homes come to life in the coming years here at Silverlake and at Lower Mill Estate.
