Each kit contains a plain porcelain bauble, a selection of paints and a brush for you to take back to your holiday home and get painting! Nature-based arts and crafts fun with a twist aiming to teach children about nature through fun and engaging crafts. Join us on Tuesdays from 1000 for an hour of crafting activity for kids! The aim of these workshops will be to teach children about nature through fun and engaging crafts. Children will get involved in a variety of nature-themed activities such as; creating leaf collages, habitat box making, making bird feeders for the wildlife on the estate and leaf rubbing. Please meet at the Activity Hub 5 minutes prior to the start time of the event. Please note: This activity will be aimed at children aged 8 and under. Children under 5 will have to be accompanied by an adult, however, parents are welcome (parents are not required to pay).

For fun and frolics with a harmonious natural backdrop, explore the myriad of beautiful lakes at Silverlake. Drift, splash and race along with canoes, kayaks and paddleboards. Look out for our resident wild ponies who like to cool off at the water’s edge. Water sports equipment is not available between November and April due to safety restrictions in relation to water temperature. If you want to explore the area and take a SUP off the Estate, simply hire your paddleboard as usual from the Activity Hub and then drop us an email at Activityhub@habitatescapes.com to let us know your off-site plans. We'll ensure that your paddleboard is deflated and ready to transport. We will also provide you with a paddleboarding guide which includes essential safety instructions for coastal paddleboarding in Dorset.

Join us for a rejuvenating yoga session at the beautiful Silverlake Nature Reserve in Dorset. Our outdoor yoga sessions take place on the edge of the reserve, offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere to help you connect with your mind and body. Our yoga session contains elements across different disciplines of yoga, suitable for all levels of ability. Whether you are an experienced yogi or a beginner, our experienced instructor will guide you through the practice, helping you to stretch, breathe and relax. Please note that the session is aimed towards people of all abilities, but participants must be over the age of 14. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and bringing a yoga mat, although we do have some available for use.

Whether you are new to paddleboarding, or a seasoned professional, the sheltered water at Silverlake is the perfect setting. With the assistance of a fully qualified paddleboard sports instructor, you will soon find your balance and be ready to try some more technical manoeuvres. Please come ready to paddle as wetsuits and changing rooms are not provided. Duration 1 hour. All sessions are suitable for beginners to an advanced level. Please notify the instructor of any injuries before the start of the session so they can tailor your workout accordingly. All equipment is provided, please bring plenty of water and a towel.

A fun and challenging way to step up your fitness routine while at Silverlake. Our SUP FIT class is designed to improve your fitness and paddle skills through a range of ‘drills and skills’ style challenges set by our instructor, along with elements of Pilates and mobility exercises. Each session will tackle something different, from slalom course races, time trial activities and more! Join us to test your endurance, core stability and strength with our unique approach to aqua fitness. All equipment is provided for you and you will be required to wear a buoyancy aid.

The Coracle Safari has been dug out, especially for these crafts and consists of a network of rivers and islands positioned off the bridleway on the most eastern side of the estate. To get started, sign up for a fun and informative introductory session with our friendly instructor. Don’t worry about being a beginner; getting wet is all part of the experience and the course has been designed specifically with safety in mind, thanks to its easy access points for rescue and recovery. Once you have taken part in an introduction session, your name will be added to a list of coracle oracles and you will be able to book and paddle at your leisure! Our traditional handmade yurt is the perfect spot for a lazy afternoon playing board games, telling stories, reconnecting with loved ones and making new friends around the log-burning stove. Our outdoor pizza oven is located right next door. It is available at certain times of the year, fired up by our expert chefs to provide the tastiest authentic woodfired pizza using the freshest local ingredients.

The Miss Dormouse Trail is a family-friendly treasure trail around Silverlake's acres of nature reserve.

A wonderful place for wildlife spotting, the lowland heath supports a wide range of plants, insects, birds and animals. Our own Site of Nature Conservation Interest (SNCI) is an important habitat for wildlife conservation, as is Warmwell Heath in the far distance, with Special Protected Area status. Small herds of sika deer often shelter in The Hollow and graze quietly on the heath. The peaceful landscape also attracts birds such as the song thrush, tree pipit, green woodpecker, linnet and nightjar.

Fliteboarding is a fun and exciting way to experience the thrill of riding on the water, and it's quickly becoming one of the most popular water sports around the world. Active Squad is an hour and a half of wet action and fun for children on paddleboards, all under the supervision of one of our fully trained instructors. The session will include all manner of watercraft as well as a healthy dose of jumping in. Learn a few new skills along the way, as well as this being the perfect opportunity to meet up with some other likeminded children of the same age!
